Cannock CAB:

our aims and principles

Our aims and principles are:

To ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively.

And also:

To exercise a responsible influence over social policy and provide free, confidential and impartial advice to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, disability or sexuality.

Okay, so what do they mean?

Put simply, our main aims are to make sure that you get all the information or help that you need. We also work on social policy issues in many different ways to try and address the source of the problems facing our clients.  This is done to prevent or reduce the chances of the problem occurring in the future.  This can be done in many different ways, from writing to a trader with  bad refund policy or lobbying parliament over housing benefit sanctions.

What Can I Do Now?
